| Abstract: | Using the available choices of design the designer have a considerable influence on the environmental quality of products. This influence relates above all to the extension of the product lifetime on market with corresponding effects on the time of use. Besides the design can contribute to material savings and improvements of the re-use possibilities. A "check list" for an environmental acceptable design shall support the design phase. |
