Abstract:Many renewable resource models combine the existence of thresholds and of multiple equilibriums to 'non-concavities', and this suggests that a convex shape is the only source for a threshold. This article provides another option: a concave renewable resource model, and argues that multiple steady states and thresholds are possible also in this kind of model.
