| Abstract: | After a long preparation ITV has started its day-time service spending about L20m on the programmes yearly. Transmission begins at 9.30 a.m. with quiz followed by soaps, current affairs, children's programmes, light entertainment, etc. Programme-makers are afraid of being serious in adult educational slots and people will switch over other channels. |
