Abstract:The Arts Channel in the UK has been operating for two years filling in a hole in cultural programming. Now they plan to celebrate the 300th anniversary of King William and Queen Mary showing concerts, plays and operas. Arts Channel's transmission reaches the North European countries, too. The Head of the channel intends to reduce the prices as to the costs of dishes in order to remain competitive. The channel broadcasts 'own' productions as well.
