Abstract:The article deals with Mexican economy. Five yrs. after NAFTA, the country is turning into an industrial power, with exports and workers becoming increasingly sophisticated. There is a note of how free trade is remaking Mexico in manufacturing, investments, and business. It is also refered e. g. to the Asian countries as to the Asia's loss of orders in the assembling industry of computer motherboards in favour of Mexico.
