| Abstract: | The papers in this issue address the questions of of competitiveness. Previous versions of the first three papers were presented at the 15th Colloquium of the European Group for Organizational Studies in Warwick in July 1999. The 4th paper analyses factors influencing competitiveness of Slovenian firms. The three papers mentioned share the view that changes at enterprise level have different phases and they are connected to alterations in the macro-level political, social and economic conditions. The two papers show that there are only limited possibilities for implementing reforms as there are no solutions for the social and political consequences within the existing system. In the 4th paper the author analyses factors influencing firm competitiveness. |
