Abstract:This study presents an empirical examination of the ethical perceptions (here as: prcpts.) of the future managers, that is, Turkish university students (as: u-students) majoring in the Business Administration and Industrial Engineering departments of selected public and private Turkish universities, emphasizing especially on gender. Analysed are the prcpts. of the u-students relating to the business world, the behaviours (as: beh/s.) of employees (as: e-s.), and the factors leading to unethical beh/s. The statistically significant differences uncover female students having more ethical prcpts. about the Turkish business climate, beh/s. of e-s., and the ethicalness of the beh/s. of the e-s. in comparison with the male students.
