Abstract: | One of the most salient characteristics of the biotechnology industry has been the use of collaborative relationships to conduct exchanges between new biotechnology firms, established pharmaceutical firms, universities and other nonprofit research organizations. These collaborative relationships exist at both the interorganizational level and the individual level, forming a dense network structure among the actors in the industry. This study gives understanding how these levels of collaboration interact. |
