| Abstract: | Here is a market-based protection mechanism that can encourage innovation and promote the advancement of the practical arts. The means presently available to protect innovative computer software are the guardians of another age, when heavy machinery pushed the Industrial Revolution over the agrarian past with a groan of gears and the squeal of steam. The tools used for work and play will be contained in the bytes and bits of these software programs. |
