| Abstract: | This study explores intellectual capital related to green innovation and environmental management. First, the study introduces the concept of green intellectual capital. Then, it empirically investigates the relationship between green intellectual capital and competitive advantage. It is found that three types of green intellectual capital affect positively on competitive advantages of firms. Those types are green human capital, green structural capital, and green relational capital. In addition, the results indicate that there is a lack of green intellectual capital in small and medium-sized enterprises. In conclusion, the firms also obtain competitive advantages by investing in green intellectual capital. |
