| Abstract: | Central europe's new big fish are beginning to feed on smaller firms in the region. But some may be growing too fast. Central europe is entering a stage when it can start boasting its own home-grown leviathans. Among the firms which capitalism has forced to sink or swim have emerged some very big fish indeed - swelling conglomerates which, having tired of decades of confinement to narrow sectors of the food chain, have tested the flesh of acquisitions and hunger for more. |
