Abstract:Next year should see growth in almost all the region's countries. But inflation remains high and domestic demand weak. Maintaining recovery will depend a lot on exports - and stable politics. Exports will be crucial. In most countries, businesses aren't counting on their governments' ability either to stimulate domestic demand or help with exports. Poland and Albania might both have the strongest, continuous recovery, but - GDP growth rates aside - the two countries couldn't be further apart.
