| Abstract: | This paper uses the theory of planned behaviour to develop a model small business managers' growth aspirations and the level of growth achieved. This model is empirically tested on a large longitudinal data set of small companies by using hierarchical regression. Consistent with prior research, the results suggest that small business managers' aspirations and growth appears more complex than stated. |
