| Abstract: | The study combines qualitative and quantitative methods in order to obtain a better understanding about how business and management scholars react when they are invited to revise and resubmit their papers for refereed journals. A postal survey was conducted on a sample of 249 faculty members in large and small universities in the USA and the UK. The questionnaire examined what scholars would do in hypothetical minor and major revision cases and why they respond so. According to the survey, there was no significant difference between the responses from the US and UK researchers. |
