| Abstract: | This is the second in a series chronicling the theoretical and practical contribution of the Tavistock Institute over the period of nearly 50 years since its inception. This volume deals with the "socio-technical perspective" and contains a large number of the seminal articles and reports which helped to establish that theoretical perspective, as well as accounts of its application in a variety of industrial settings. The contributions to the book are of a uniformly high standard. |
