Abstract:This article approaches the question of cultural produce consumption from a repeat viewing perspective. The authors provide an in-depth discussion on the concept repeat consumption. They analyze the interview responses of 3106 British consumers paying particular attention to individuals who go to the movie theater to view the same film again in a short term. The paper identifies a set of characters related to audience's repeat consumption behavior. The repeat viewing is more common among younger population.
