| Abstract: | In Spain a significant number of capital intensive industries are in family ownership. The aim of this paper is to explicate in a long-term perspective the organization of the Spanish industry. The authors focused on the Spanish steel wire manufactures as a case study to test network and resource dependency theories. The findings from this interdisciplinary approach study are not completely in line with the existing theories about networks and resource dependency. |
