| Abstract: | The author treats the solid waste disposal problem faced by American households. In ten states deposit laws have been passed according to which the consumer has to pay deposit at the time beverage is purchased. When the empties are returned the deposit is refunded. Similar laws are suggested to be passed anywhere cleaner environment is preferred. |
