Abstract:A review of management techniques, revenue cost studies, and project management concerning the British National Health Service, based on a new hospital project in which the running costs were assessed in the early stages. The study considers the possibility that once they are built, government funded project facilities may not be used because of a lack of resources. The author suggests the "mothball" sealing of clean buildings and the demolition of obsolete ones to maximize savings.
