| Abstract: | How do these so called big-game hunters - persons who track down the biggest debt deals and clinch them - manage to do it in the bourgeoning Asian market? They have to know what their banks can deliver and what their clients need, and they have to be able to convince borrowers that transactions will fly in the market. Beyond that there is a world of intangibles that can be summed up as establishing relationships. Having friends in high places helps, but one may have to do more than just play golf with them. It also pays to be able to talk about anything. |
