| Abstract: | Since 1984, the difference between the trade statistics declared by China and US has been becoming great more and more. According to the US statistics, the import from China has increased sharply. This is because that foreign traders shift the labor-intensive enterprises to the mainland and most of the products are exported to foreign countries, especially US. Thus the geographical shift of products results in the change of foreign trade statistics. Some products of the foreign funded enterprises are exported through Hong Kong by importable trade. These products should not be included in China's export to US. In addition, the competitive power of US products in China market is not very strong. |
