| Abstract: | The paper provides an overview of trade flows between China and her major European partners. As expected, China has comparative advantage in and is a net exporter of labour-intensive and natural resource intensive products. At the same time, the country is a net importer of capital-intensive and technology-intensive products. Considerable two-way trade in certain products also takes place indicating some degree of complementarity between China and some of her European trade partners. |
