Abstract:Nigeria's economy is still a long way off from "booming" but recent policy reform has allowed the country's industrialists, as well as the Government, to heave a sigh of relief. Long-starved of any cause for celebration, the fact that Nigeria's aimless economy is at least back on course has given members of the country's financial community something to smile, if not shout, about. They agree with the Government's assessment that the economy might not be booming but it has certainly ceased to drift.
