| Abstract: | This annual airline alliance survey details the commercial agreements of some 200 of the world's mainline carriers. The survey includes all major alliances between mainline carriers, but excludes co-operation on frequent flyer programmes and agreements with regional partners (listed in the May 1999 edition). It is led by a look at the state of play among the four emerging global alliances (Star, Qualiflyer, oneworld and KLM/Northwest), now in the process of consolidating their presence on the world stage. |
