| Abstract: | This paper investigates the factors that influence ethical behaviour in 203 hospital employees in Midwestern and Northwestern United States. It is shown that the ethical peers had the most impact on ethical behaviour. Ethical behaviour of the successfull managers, professional education in ethics and sex of the respondents also significantly affected ethical behaviour. Nurses found to be notably more ethical than other employees. Race of the respondent did not affect ethical behaviour. |
