Abstract:The two problems China is facing are how to get the information necessary for setting prices and what measures to be taken for encouraging managers. Under the existing economic system, China is able to get the information on balancing supply and demand, which is necessary for economic development. At present, it should expand the scope of prices being determined by market forces and at the same time continue to remedy defects in market mechanism. As to the incentive mechanism of enterprises, great change has taken place. For instance there is no longer such a situation that all the losses suffered by enterprises are subsidized by the state. It is true of the profit-reserving system of enterprises. The profit-making enterprises can keep the corresponding profits and people in charge of enterprises have quite a "right of control over surplus value".
