Abstract: | Ability testing is widely used for predicting managerial competence, but it does nothing of the sort, according to Binna Kandola, Martin Stairs and Ruth Sanford-Smith. They call for a new set of standards for the use of psychometric instruments in senior-level assessment and selection. Predicting a candidate's success in a management role is arguably the holy grail of assessment activity. |
