| Abstract: | From 1980, Taiwan has all along kept a favorable balance in the entrepot trade with the mainland. The causes of the trade imbalance in the entrepot trade between Taiwan and the mainland are that the altitude of the mainland to the economic and trade contacts between the mainland and taiwan is different from that of Taiwan, the commodity structure of the mainland is different from that of Taiwan and the upsurge of Taiwan traders' investing in the mainland give an impetus to the entrepot trade of Taiwan to the mainland. |
