| Abstract: | The new generalized system of preferences (GSP) involves 17 categories of industrial products. Among them, the GSP treatment of 7 categories of stable products exported by China has almost been cancelled or will completely be cancelled. According to 1993's export volume, these products valued at 11.7 billion European monetary units, accounting for 60% of China's export to Europe. So China should strengthen the competitive power of the products without GSP treatment for export,have special GSP statistics concerning the export to Europe and develop fully the export of products with GSP treatment and at the same time strive for supplementary preferential treatment. |
