| Abstract: | According to the statistics of the Chinese Customs, China's ten top trade partners, in order of trade volume, were Japan, Hong Kong, the United States, the European Union, Taiwan Province, the Republic of Korea, Singapore, Russia, Canada and Australia. China's bilateral trade with these trade partners in 1995 all grew over 1994. The total trade volume between China and these partners were respectively US$ 57.46 billion, 44.57 billion, 40.38 billion, 40.34 billion, 17.88 billion, 16.98 billion, 4.9 billion, 5.46 billion, 4.213 billion and 4.211 billion, up 19.9%, 15.4%, 18.7%, 9.5%, 44.8%, 36.6%, 7.6%, 29.8% and 6.8% (The trade growth rate between mainland and Hong Kong is not included here). |
