Abstract:Generally-speaking, the trade volume between China and Mongolia has grown continuously. But it is not true of all the years and months. In a few years or months, it presented a downward trend. China's trade volume with Mongolia amounted to US$ 5.68 million in 1985 and rose to US$ 150.96 million in 1993. The modes of trade between the two countries are flexible and varied. Among them, the border barter trade has developed faster. The economic and trade contracts between the two countries have complementary, to a great extent. However, China has always found herself in a export surplus position. The economic and trade relations between China and Mongolia contain the content of economic aid to Mongolia, given by China.
