| Abstract: | Russia's foreign economic policy features the following: Its policy taking the western countries as the key practices since its independence has been shifted to one giving consideration to both western and eastern countries. The issue of ideology is neglected in its policy. And the economic cooperation with the countries in Asia and the Pacific Region, especially Northeast Asia is emphasized. In recent years, the economic and trade relations between Heilongjiang province and Russia have developed continuously. For instance, From 1988 to 1994, Heilong jiang's import and export trade volume totaled US$ 6.8 billion and it had signed 1744 economic and technological contracts. In the years to come, Heilongjiang should take its cooperation with Russia as the key point, in earnest. |
