| Abstract: | In recent two years, the average annual growth rate of bilateral trade volume has surpassed or neared 30%. The trade volume in 1996 reached US$ 6.8 billion. Two countries have already established strategic co-operative partner relationship geared to the 21 century. At present, new growth points of trade need to be sought. Both sides should open investment markets and bring along trade with investment and economic co-operation, invigorate border trade to make it develop orderly and healthily, strengthen sci-tech co-operation, jointly develop some mechanical products of Russia and conduct sale promotion in world market. Besides, the superiority of traditional export commodities should be brought into play while the export of mechanical and electrical products is expanded. |
