Abstract:Since the founding of the People's Republic of China, Sino-British economic and trade relationship, overall, has developed continuously though the speed is slow and tortuous are met sometime. In recent years, under the joint efforts , bilateral economic and trade relationship has embarked on the right track. It developed rapidly in 1996, but there still exist many problem. Therefore, the Chinese government attempts to do the following: continuing to focus its efforts on export and improving the compositions of commodities to be exported to UK. The prospects for Sino-British economic and trade relationship would be very bright so long as the principle of mutually beneficial and going by strictly the reached agreements is followed.
