| Abstract: | There are such advantages as long contiguous line, good humanistic foundation and strong economic complementarity for developing Sino-Russian economic and trade relationship But there exist many unfavourable factors restricting the development of Sino-Russian border trade, viewed in the light of its basic situation. So this paper raises the following suggestions for accelarating its development: 1. deepening understanding of border trade; 2. participating in the development of Russian market and undertaking some large projects according the "fewer but better" principle; 3. creating a good port environment and supporting the key projects there. |
