| Abstract: | European Works Councils Directive has been inforce since 1996. European Commission is conducting a review of its implementation. This article examines progress in transposing the Directive and in negotiating EWC agreements in multinational companies. There is also a listing on '50 new EWC agreements concluded in 1999'. |
