Abstract:All major capital projects require some form of audit mechanism procedure and these are traditionally undertaken at strategic periods over the project life cycle typically, pre sanction, 30, 60 and 90%. In order to evaluate the status of a given project at any time during the life cycle, project specific data are required, these data require structured evaluation in accordance with the organization's audit procedures. The concurrent, simultaneous engineering resource view concept, ConSERV, is being designed to enable project specific data to be handed via a knowledge based system and thereby be continually analyzed, assessed and audited against project specific issues and organisational procedures.
