Abstract: | This article discusses clustering and its impact on growth and survival of IT firms in Canada. The findings indicate that, generally, agglomeration at the regional and metropolitan levels does not influence growth rates or survival propability. However, there is some evidence that the closeness to US IT clusters has a positive effect on growth rates of Canadian IT firms. |
