Abstract: | Some companies stopped their national sales conference altogether, and reorganized it as a series of local meetings, rallying the top executives. Focus is on efficiency and economy. These mean the broadening of the application of conferences beyond their traditional sales-based role. For optimum use of delegates' time, presentations should be between 90 and 120 minutes. It may also be appropriate to divide into small groups, for specialist talks. Audio-visual presentations using computer graphics are increasingly used. Some conference organizers now use travel time as an addition for imparting information. |
