| Abstract: | Two closely related fields central to the exponential growth of management science and decision science since midcentury are multiple criteria decision making (MCDM) and multiattribute utility theory (MAUT). The authors comment on the history of MCDM and MAUT, and discuss topics they believe are important in their continued development and usefulness to management and decision science over the next decade. The authors', aim is to identify trends, directions and promising areas for future research, concerning both MCDM and MAUT. |
