Abstract:By the time of the next Olympic Games in 1992 NBC wants to have 25 million addressable homes. It is to be feared, however, that the industry is unprepared. Stations spend considerable amounts on marketing trying to find new approaches. There is an increase in the number of PPV and basic cable subscribers and this is a promising sign.
