| Abstract: | Affected by the flourishing market demand, in March, the price of most timber breeds is rising again following last month's increase. Five breeds out of nine under inspectation have a conspicuous rising scope. The average prices of korean pines, larch, north China ashes, thick planks of larch have increased respectively by 1.44%, 1.91%, 1.29% and 2.27%. The China fir's logs and the larch's thick planks have an average price of 1001 yuan, 1089 yuan per cubic meter, down than that of February by 0.63%, 0.72%. And the price of plywood is continuously going down because of the Southeast Asian financial crisis and the tariff rate's reduction and others. |
