| Abstract: | As part of a medium term project for the British Manpower Services Commission (MSC) on the effects of business changes on human resource management (HRM) a university team concerned with company strategy and change has worked with a Scottish banking group - one of 10 organizations in banking, computing, retailing and manufacturing sectors - chosen for the important business and human resource changes they experience. In this article the authors show how HRM can help organizations to change. |
