| Abstract: | Taxonomies are widely used in a plenty of the website and directory navigation schemes for content and knowledge retrieval. The adoption and usage of collaborative tagging (or social bookmarking) tools have offered lightweight and informal conceptual structures called 'folksonomies' for knowledge retrieval, reflecting the vocabulary of the users. This paper presents TaxoFolk, an algorithm for combining hybrid taxonomy-folksonomy classification with enhanced knowledge navigation. |
