Abstract:This article present a way of understanding literature, organization and their mutual relationship. Literature is regarded as a relatively homogenous field, which leads to the fact that the way in which organizational theories and concepts are taken up often neglects debate and contestation. The paper finds the discussion of (social) organization at the heart of contemporary literary theory by exploring the relation between text and extra-textual reality and literature's disclosure of its status as fiction.
