Abstract:For the most part, religion has been neglected in higher education research. On the individual level, religion provides overarching framework for one's worldview and moral opinions, offering insight into human drives, hopes etc. On the group level, religion offers resources and pathways for relational support, prosocial activity etc. For these reasons, the study of religion is timely and necessary.
