| Abstract: | There's only a little previois study on the transitory stage of new venture creation when initial conditions changeover to a process of evolution. This paper investigates critical incidents infant new ventures face in this transitory stage. Two areas are covered: 1) A review of selected process models of new venture creation is conducted. Results from this review concludes that existing models are associated with numerous weaknesses. 2) An empirical study based on the critical incident technique is reported on. |
