| Abstract: | While The Banker league of the top 500 European banks shows them advancing on virtually all fronts, expert opintion concludes that German banks may have a troubled time ahead. The Banker's annual rating of European banks which for the first time includes Russian banks, can be divided roughly into a number of camps with no particular geographical consistency. The "statics" including Andorra, Austria, Belgium, France, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Slovakia, Spain and the UK show little change or the development of particular trends. |
