| Abstract: | January 1, 2002 is the deadline for one of the most important changes that the international banking would has seen - the introduction of notes and coins for the single European currency. The author states that however well prepared the member countries are for the changeover to the euro, there are bound to be unforeseen problems. The author analyses these problems and states in conclusion that most of them can be solved by effective public relations campaigns, in the last few months of year 2001, so people do not forget. |
