| Abstract: | The author discusses the problem of air traffic service privatization in the USA, and states that no other US government activity so totally dominates such a vital economic endeavor as does the air traffic control function of the Federal Aviation Administration. The problem is the rapidly changing technologies. Both managers and engineers in the aviation industry require new technical skills that the civil federal government finds nearly impossible to attract. |
